Permanent Eyebrows Makeup in Progress

Pre-care Instructions

Please avoid the following below before your Cosmetic Tattoo appointment:

24 hours before your appointment:

  • Alcohol

  • Caffeinated drinks

  • Valium

These above thins out your blood and causes excessive bleeding during the procedure and pushes the pigment out, ending in poor results.

2 weeks before your appointment:

  • Medicinal facial creams

  • Facial creams containing Vit A, bleaching agent

  • Medicines/supplements such as Antibiotics, Antiseptics, Anticoagulants, Antiplatelet drugs, Corticosteroids, Colchicine, Vasoconstrictors, Diabetes meds, Blood thinners, Fish Oil, Ibuprofen, Alchohol, Aspirin, Valium, Arthritis medication, Accutane, any types of chemical peels, Hormone Replacement.

6 weeks onwards before your appointment:

  • Accutane (6 months)

  • Any type of Chemical Peels (it has been reported that Accutane and any types of chemical peels and dermabrasion increase the risk of hyperthropic scar formulation. It is recommended to allow 6 months before performing Cosmetic Tattoo).

  • Facial surgery/injectables/fillers (6 weeks)

  • Laser therapy

  • Chemotherapy/radiation therapy (Doctor clearance also required)

Pre-care on Lip Blush

  • Gently exfoliate your lips for 3 before your appointment, you can use your toothbrush to exfoliate in the shower. This will help moisturize and soften your lips prior to the procedure, making it easier to implant the pigment into your lips.

  • If you suffer from Cold Sores, it is highly advised to see your GP or your local pharmacist to purchase a strong medication (Lysine) to treat your lips a month before the appointment, and medications to use for after your appointment.

  • Wait 4 weeks after having lip fillers.

Pre-care on Eyeliner Tattoos

  • For Eyeliner treatment:

  • Lash Serums must be stopped for 1 month prior to the appointment as this product can thicken the actual skin of the eyelid and present a barrier to the pigments.

  • Do not put contact lenses on before your appointment.

  • No eyelash extensions. These need to be removed at least 4 days before your appointment as glue residue can interfere with the implantation of the pigment.

  • No eye makeup before your appointment.

Pre-care on Eyebrow Tattoos

  • For Eyebrows Treatments:

  • Please come to your appointment with no brow tint present on your brows.

  • Allow 3 days for your eyebrows to settle after waxing.

  • Wait at least 2 weeks after having Botox or Fillers.

Pre-care on Eyelash Extensions

  • Wash your hair the night before your appointment as your fresh set of lashes cannot come in contact with moisture for 24 hours after getting them done.

  • To avoid an extra charge of $40 for Makeup Removal + Cleansing, PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP WITH MASCARA/EYELINER on. This will help reduce time spent on cleaning your eyelashes prior to the application. The sooner we start on your application, the sooner we can finish and can show them off :-)

  • As all my Russian Volumes extensions are hand made on the spot, the appointment could take 2-3 hours (also depending on every individuals' eyes). Ensure you have eaten prior to your appointment.
