Cosmetic Tattoo, also known as Micropigmentation is a popular Semi-permanent cosmetic treatment that involves penetrating the dermal layer of the skin and implanting safe colour pigments instantly improving appearance, facial definition and in most cases a long lasting effect.
Cosmetic Tattoo is a TWO-step process where a Perfection Visit (Touch Up) is required 4-8 weeks after your treatment to achieve the final results. All Cosmetic Tattoo treatments include free Consultation, Facial analysis and Aftercare Kit.
Powder/Ombre Brows

Powder Brows is great for those with minimal hair wanting a soft pale powdery finish. Ombre Brows give you the soft make-up powder/shaded look, with the shading being darker at the tail, gradually goes lighter from mid brow to the front of the brow.
Combination Brows

Combination Brows is a combination of Feather Strokes and Ombre/Powder Brows. Feather Stroke is tattooed at the front end of your brows, then blended in to the shading of the Powder/Ombre design. This treatment is perfect for all skin types.
Lip Blush

Lip Blush Tattoo (full lip tattoo) can give you a glamourous or a natural look, whichever preference you are after. Lip Blush adds definition and fullness to your lips, and evens out hyperpigmented lips. Colours are carefully customised to suit your skin tone and preference. This treatment is also perfect to those with hyperpigmented (discoloured/dark) lips. Say no more to smudged lipsticks!
Dark Lips Neutralization

Dark Lip Neutralization is a specialized cosmetic tattooing procedure designed to address subdued or dark-hued lips. It is commonly administered to individuals with darker skin tones or those whose lips have darkened due to environmental factors, hyperpigmentation, or underlying health concerns. The process utilizes ink pigments in the lip region to counterbalance darker shades and lightens the natural lip color and accentuating lip shape. The treatment yields a subtle, rather than intense, outcome to ensure results that appear natural. While injectables like lip fillers excel at providing lasting volume to the lip zone, lip neutralisation provides contour and plumpness.
Lash Enhancements
Lash Enhancement is a Classic Eyeliner Tattoo that accentuates the colour and the shape of your eyes. With this treatment a thin liner is implanted on the upper/lower eyelid of your eyes. Say goodbye to Panda eyes after a sweaty day, heavy night out or a work out!

Classic Winged Eyeliner

A thicker and bolder (compared to Lash Enhancement) eyeliner tattoo of a solid line with a winged tail. The wing can be customized at a straight/downward/upward angle depending on the client's preference. The length and the thickness of the wing can also be customized.
Powder Shading Eyeliner

A soft eyeliner that is soft eyeliner that has a dark and solid base with a smudged effect on top. Thickness, length and wing angle can be customized.
Additional Touch Up
Certain skin types and many medications/supplements have an affect on Cosmetic Tattoos, with some medications and skin types hampering the pigment staying in the skin and some causing the colour to change. Additional Touch Up is required if the Perfection Visit isn't enough to finalised the procedure.

Color Correction

This treatment is for those who have old Cosmetic Tattoos that had turned in colors; Salmon, Blue, Purple, Light/Dark Red, Green from factors such as environmental exposure, medications, lifestyle, age & quality of the pigment. Colour correction is difficult and may require at least 2 - 3 extra treatments. Color Correction is best if your Cosmetic Tattoo has significantly faded. If they are still saturated/dense in color, a Removal is the best option.
Colour Boost
1-2 years
A colour boost is necessary as your permanent makeup fades over time. Every individual is different with some cosmetic tattoos lasting them for over 3 years and some fading just under a year from their initial appointment. Factors in this include medications/supplements, lifestyle, health and skincare maintenance. This treatment is only available on clients with Cosmetic Tattoos previously done by Jeuels.

Non-Laser Cosmetic Tattoo Removal

A removal process that breaks down the tissue that encapsulates the pigment, allowing the remover to dissolve the pigment. The ingredient Glycolic Acid has a small molecule that can penetrate the skin and dissolve the pigment particles. Glycolic Acid is commonly used in skin treatments and skin products for good reason. It is gentle on the skin and effective on skin conditions and contains aloe vera extract that promotes healing. A Patch Test appointment must be booked prior to receiving this treatment. Patch test is $20.

How long will my cosmetic tattoo last?
The longevity of cosmetic tattoo will depend on your skin type, aftercare treatment and maintenance, medical and lifestyle. Say twin 1 and 2 had their eyebrows done at the same time with the same cosmetic tattoo artist. Twin 1 is a regular beach goer, gets exposed under the sun and twin 2 works in an office. Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading and colour change. Twin 1 will most likely need a touch up sooner than twin 2. Many medications/supplements also have an affect on the treatment, with some medications hampering the pigment staying in the skin and some causing the colour to change. Depending on skin condition or maintenance, for oily skin types this usually lasts 10 to 12 months. For normal skin types this lasts 18 to 24 months. A Color Refresh is recommended annually to refresh the tattoos, some may need it at 6 months.
I have existing Cosmetic tattoo from another artist and I want to book an appointment. Will I be charged full price?
Yes. During your appointment the desired treatment will be measured, mapped, and sculpted. Please respect the time it takes to start your treatment from the beginning including modifying your existing colour implanted in your skin. You will need to email clear photos of your previous cosmetic tattoo before making your appointment as sometimes going over old tattoos don't always give the best outcome. I will need to determine if doing work over the tattoo is possible as some older tattoos were created with pigments that hold heavy metals such as Titanium Dioxide that don't break down.
In the event of an allergic reaction, what should I do and will I be issued a refund?
If you experience the rare occurrence of an allergic reaction, I advice you to see a medical practitioner. The reaction could either be from the anaesthetic or the pigment. Please keep in mind that an allergic reaction can be an unforeseen event that I am unable to predict, therefore a refund will not be issued. Your filled-in Consultation forms are thoroughly reviewed by myself prior to booking your treatment. If you have allergies present on the form that is likely to affect the suitability of your treatment, you wouldn't be booked in to begin with.
Will the procedure hurt? What kind of pain relief is used during the procedure.
Every one has a different pain tolerance. I have made an arrangement with Kepperra Compounding Pharmacy to use a compounded 10% in strength Topical Anaesthetic cream and gel, stronger than any over the counter products for maximum comfort. Topical Anaesthetic cream and gel used during the appointment contains Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Benzocaine, Prilocaine and Adrenaline (ephineprine). By law we cannot supply anaesthetic to you unless it is prescribed to you. Before booking your appointment, you need to order your anaesthetic from KCP and allow 3 business days for the anaesthetic to be delivered to Face Artistry by Jeuels. Please note you will not be treated for treatment/s if you prefer to use over the counter pain relief.
How long will the appointment take?
How many treatments will I need?
The appointment can take 2-2.5 hours, sometimes more. Perfection Visit (4-8 weeks after the initial appointment) can take 1-1.5 hours.
Two treatments are required to perfect and finish your tattoo (initial appointment and perfection visit). Depending on skin types, some may need an additional touch up appointment after their Perfection Visit. If you require an additional appointment, this will be a fee of $170, $250 for lips procedures and must be booked in within 2 months after your Perfection Visit. Any later than this timeframe is considered a Color Refresh.
What can I expect after a treatment?
Your tattoo will produce excess lymph fluid (clear fluid) and you'll be instructed to dab this off with cotton pads every hour for 3 hours and then applying the aftercare cream. Immediately after your treatment, your tattoo will be intense in colour for 7 days. Naturally this colour will fade 30-40% of its intensity and the true colour will come out around 4 week mark.

How can I care for my cosmetic tattoo
long term?

Apply sunscreen on the treated area as sun exposure causes your cosmetic tattoo to fade.

Avoid glycolic acid, facial peels and exfoliants on the treated area as these will fade your tattoo.

Advise your technician prior to having chemical peels, laser procedures and MRI scan as your tattoo could fade or worst, turn black.
Am I a good candidate for Cosmetic Tattoos?
Cosmetic Tattoos save a great deal of time getting ready in the mornings, but unfortunately these treatments aren't for everyone. There are Contraindications which may prevent or restrict treatment, or require doctor clearance from a medical practitioner in order to proceed with a cosmetic Tattoo.
